Congratulations Dayna Rae Phelps, the winner of our People’s Choice Style 2012 contest!

It was a strange year for the People’s Choice Awards, some of the biggest winners on the night did not make the show, like Katy Perry and for many of the stars who did walk the red carpet it was a toned down affair. With that in mind, our winner was right on the mark with her choice of this understated and form fitting black dress by La Femme for NCIS star Pauley Perrette. The star, who recently got engaged, looked radiant on the red carpet with her statement bangs and sweet up-do. She paired her simple look with cute mary-janes for the perfect finish!

Meme was the first entry closest to our best seller! We know lots of you chose that dress (and so lots of you have great taste!)
Our best seller this holiday perios is the long sleeve, sequin mini dress by Scala. the dress retails at $198. the Pink / Champagne color was our best seller by quite a margin this season! But, luckily we sell worldwide, so while all you girls out there are right on trend, there’s very little chance you’ll run into someone with the same dress!

Meme was the first to suggest this cap sleeve version of the dress, also by Scala. With some deliberation here in the office, we thought this was the best match!

Selena Gomez looked nothing short of spectacular in all of her outfits hosting the MTV EMA’s this weekend. She kept her look young and fresh with just the right touch of glamour for the event. And, as you know we have been running an awesome contest to predict her look, so, drum roll please, we have a winner: Laurel Keating!

Laurel was one of the 300 people who took part in the contest on Facebook. laurel predicted that Selena would wear this Tony Bowls Shorts cocktail dress. And we have to admit, she was pretty spot on!
The green color is a little off but the silhouette and feel of the dress were perfect!

We did have 300 entries though and it was a hard decision to make. There were some fights and some tears but the MissesDressy staff came to an agreement on Laurel’s look!
